We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Plant Manager for our Water Treatment facility.
As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of managing the daily operations of our water treatment plant, ensuring the highest quality of water for our customers.
This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a significant impact on the community through their work.
Responsibilities:
As the Plant Manager, you will:
1.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the water treatment plant, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
2.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment, identifying any issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
3.
Develop and manage the plant's annual budget, ensuring all operations are financially sustainable and cost-effective.
4.
Lead a team of operators and technicians, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging continuous learning and development.
5.
Implement and monitor process control measures, ensuring all operations adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety.
6.
Manage all maintenance activities, scheduling regular maintenance and repairs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of our equipment.
7.
Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing innovative solutions.
8.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to water treatment.
9.
Collaborate with other managers and stakeholders to develop strategic plans for the plant's future operations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
1.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a water treatment facility.
2.
A strong understanding of water treatment processes and related equipment.
3.
Proven experience in conducting facility inspections and managing budgets.
4.
Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
5.
Strong knowledge of process control and quality assurance measures.
6.
Experience in managing maintenance activities within a plant environment.
7.
A solid understanding of operations management and process improvement methodologies.
8.
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
9.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
10.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
